Day 4: Faith and Patience: The Twin Keys

Reading: Hebrews 6:12-18

Devotional: Abraham waited 25 years for his promise. Twenty-five years of patient endurance before Isaac was born. The scripture reveals the secret: "through faith and patience inherit the promises." Not faith alone—faith AND patience. This combination unlocks what's rightfully yours. God confirmed His promise to Abraham with an oath, "an end of all strife." When God gives His word, all striving should stop. Yet we struggle, don't we? We try to birth the promise ourselves, creating Ishmaels instead of Isaacs. Today, ask yourself: Am I striving or trusting? Am I trying to make it happen or letting God bring it forth? Patience isn't passive—it's active trust that refuses to quit. Encourage yourself in the Lord. Your promise is coming.
