Day 1: The Promise Arrives
Reading: Psalm 27:13-14
Devotional: When God plants a promise in your heart, it arrives with joy, expectation, and faith at its peak. Like a woman receiving news of pregnancy, you're filled with anticipation of what's to come. But the journey from promise to fulfillment requires something crucial: waiting on the Lord. This isn't passive waiting—it's active trust. The psalmist says twice, "Wait on the Lord," emphasizing its importance. Today, identify the promises God has given you. Write them down. Speak them aloud. Don't let the days between promise and fulfillment weaken your faith. Instead, let waiting strengthen your dependence on Him. Your job isn't to figure out how God will fulfill His word; your job is simply to believe Him.
