Community Hygiene Bank (CHB)

The CHB was started in 2017 to address a growing community need -- hygiene poverty.  Hygiene Poverty is not being able to afford everyday hygiene items, personal care items, and cleaning supplies.

The cost of these items increased almost 300% in 2022. Individuals who receive SNAP benefits to help with food costs CANNOT use these benefits to purchase hygiene items such as deodorant, soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, floor cleaner, etc.

The CHB exists to ensure that families and individuals in our community have their basic health needs met.   Visit the CHB website to find volunteer information and to learn more about their services:  https://www.hygiene4all.org
