Day 5: Standing Your Ground in Harvest Time

Reading: 2 Samuel 23:11-12; Ephesians 6:10-13

Devotional: When the Philistines gathered to steal the harvest, everyone fled—except Shammah. He stood his ground in the middle of the field and defended it. The Lord gave him great victory. Church, this is your moment to stand. The enemy wants to intimidate you into hiding, to convince you that you're outnumbered and outmatched. But greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. You are not called to retreat but to resist. Stand your ground. Defend the harvest God has entrusted to you—your family, your calling, your community. You are clothed in the power of the Holy Spirit. You run through troops and leap over walls. Increase is coming, and you are positioned to receive it. Stand firm, and watch God give you the victory.

Reflection Question: What ground has the enemy been stealing from you that God is calling you to reclaim and defend today?
