Day 3: The Battle for the Harvest
Reading: John 4:35-38; Matthew 9:37-38
Devotional: The harvest is now, not four months away. Jesus looked at the people and saw fields ripe for harvest—hearts ready to receive God's love. Yet the enemy's primary strategy is to steal, kill, and destroy the harvest before it's gathered. Every distraction, discouragement, and difficulty you face is designed to keep you from reaching those God has prepared. Don't let the enemy convince you that your problems disqualify you from ministry. Your mess doesn't negate your message; often, it becomes your ministry. The Lord of the harvest is sending you—not when you're perfect, but right now. Someone today needs the love of God that flows through you. Will you be a worker in the harvest field?
Reflection Question: Who in your world—your workplace, neighborhood, or family—needs to encounter God's love through you today?
