5-Day Holy Week Devotional: The Mystery Revealed
Day 1: The King's Humble Entrance
Reading: Luke 19:35-38; Zechariah 9:9
Devotional: When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey's colt, He fulfilled ancient prophecy in an unexpected way. The crowds expected a warrior king on a white stallion, ready to overthrow Rome. Instead, they witnessed humility incarnate. God's ways are higher than our ways, and His plans often defy our expectations. The mystery of Palm Sunday reveals that true victory doesn't always look like worldly conquest. Jesus came to wage war against spiritual oppression, not earthly empires.
