Day One - The Enemy Within

Day 1: Moving Forward Requires Leaving Behind

Reading: Exodus 14:11-15; Philippians 3:13-14

Devotional: The Israelites stood at the Red Sea, paralyzed between their past slavery and God's promised future. Like them, we often prefer the familiar chains of yesterday to the uncertain freedom of tomorrow. God's command to Moses was clear: "Tell the people to get moving." This wasn't a suggestion—it was an order. Moving forward is always God's plan for your life, but it requires releasing what's behind. You cannot stay where you are and receive what God has prepared ahead. Today, ask yourself: What comfortable captivity am I clinging to? What excuses am I making? God is commanding you forward. The question isn't whether He'll make a way—He will. The question is: Will you obey and move?
