Day 4: When Promises Seem Inconvenient
Reading: Luke 1:26-38; Acts 1:7
Devotional: Mary's promise came at the most inconvenient time—young, unmarried, facing potential disgrace. Yet she said, "Be it unto me according to your word." God's timing rarely considers our convenience. The fulfillment of your prophetic word may arrive when you feel least prepared, most stretched, or completely overwhelmed. Jesus told His disciples they couldn't know the Father's appointed times—only that He sets them by His own authority. Stop trying to schedule God's interventions around your comfort. The baby comes when it's ready, regardless of your plans. Your breakthrough will arrive at the divinely appointed moment, not when it's convenient. Prepare your heart to receive, even when the timing challenges you. God's inconvenient moments often become our greatest testimonies.
