Day 5: Until the End of the Age

Reading: Matthew 28:18-20, Hebrews 13:5-6

Devotional: Jesus' final promise to His disciples was simple yet profound: "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." This wasn't a temporary arrangement or conditional promise. It's an eternal covenant that cannot be broken. God cannot leave you even if He wanted to - His covenant won't allow it. When Jesus ascended, He didn't abandon us; He sent the Holy Spirit to ensure His presence would remain with us forever. You cannot get rid of Him. In hospital rooms, financial struggles, family crises, or seasons of doubt - He is there. The question isn't whether God is with you, but whether you're aware of His presence. Today, cultivate that awareness. Acknowledge Him in every moment. Thank Him for never loosening His grip on your life. Live with the confidence that comes from knowing the King of the universe has taken up permanent residence within you and will never, ever leave you alone.
