Our Mission

Mentoring, discipleship and the impartation of vision, wisdom, faith and experience will help us reach people across the generations and lead us into this cultural

Our Vision

Jubilee Christian is a local church with a “Kingdom vision” for a territory.  We believe “the church” has great potential to impact entire communities. We are called to help people identify and release the potential within them; to make ministers out of members.  To be an equipping and training center within a territory for believers of every generation. We believe our goal is to equip, train, empower and then release every individual to use their God given gifts and talents to make a difference beyond the local church. We have a desire to see the transformation of individual lives and communities.
We can do this because we believe Jesus is who He says He is; we are who He says we are, and we can do everything He says we can do. Loving God and loving others, as God loves them, is what Jubilee Christian Church is all about.
Statement Of Faith

GOD’S WORD: We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God.  We believe it is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. Therefore when it comes to essential beliefs, the Word of God is our standard.                               Hebrews 4:12, 2 Peter 1:20,21

GOD: We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely Holy.                                                                                       Matthew 28:18-20

JESUS: His eternal deity, virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension and imminent return. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man, and is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.                   John 1:1; Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:26-38

THE HOLY SPIRIT: He dwells in the heart of every believer to impart the character of Christ, and comes upon God’s people in power to equip them for ministry. His gifts are available to every believer today, and are necessary for the church to function as God intended. The Holy Spirit enables us to use these spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.                Acts 2:38-39; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11

THE TRINITY: There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.                                              2 Corinthians 13:14

NEW BIRTH: Salvation by grace, through faith, apart from any works of our own. We believe that in order to receive forgiveness of sins and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and confess Him with our mouth.                                                                                                                                                                                  Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9,10

SIN: We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. Forgiveness of sins is available to us only through the blood of Jesus.                                                                                                                                    Matthew 26:27-28

WATER BAPTISM: A public testimony of our identification with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection life.  We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water.                                  Romans 6:3-4

DIVINE HEALING: For the whole man; body, soul and spirit through the stripes of Jesus.                                                Isaiah 53:5, I Peter 2:24

WORSHIP: Worship is an expression of love, thanksgiving and adoration to God for who He is.  Our purpose is to glorify God and worship Him in spirit and truth.                                                                                                                                          John 4:24

GIVING: Tithing is not only an Old Covenant command, but also a New Testament blessing and privilege.  Tithing is different from seed-faith gifts and offerings. The tithe is the 10 percent that belongs to God.  Gifts and offerings are above and beyond the tithe.                                                                                                                                                            Matthew 23:23, Malachi 3:8-10

Our History

Jubilee Christian Church was established  in 1997.
Pastor Emelio and Lucy Sebastian have a long history of serving the Lord. The church was formed in 1996 as Joseph Company Ministries. “Joseph is a fruitful bough, by a well; whose branches run over the wall.” Genesis 49:22
We changed our name to Jubilee Christian Church when we moved to Brockport, New York.
Jubilee purchased the building and set it apart for the Lord in 1998.  The building was dedicated in 2006 in a special ceremony with Dr. Chuck Pierce, President of Glory of Zion International Ministries in Denton, TX.
Jubilee is recognized as a Church of Zion.

Our Mission

Loving People

Our gatherings take many people to make them work, from ushers to greeters, to youth and adult group leaders, to care ministry workers, to prayer warriors and everywhere in-between.

Serving the City

We are committed to building strong relationships and strategic partnerships where we can work alongside the work God is already doing in our town, in our county and in our city.

Reaching the World

We believe God has called us to be a church that follows Him by turning our hearts and focus to global outreach by serving our neighbors no  matter where they are.
